THE 10
1. The Used - Blue and yellow
With thumping drums and soothing lyrics into kick ass rock. The used is definately
a band whos got their shit together.
2. Led Zepplin - Ramble on
Before the Lord of the rings was ever made into a movie,
Led Zepplin was singin about them way back in the 70's. Listen to the lyrics in this song about gollum and mordor and realize
just how ahead of their time the Zep was.
3. Feeder - Come back around
Nope, its not Foo Fighters, but damn does it sound alot
like em. Download it for yourself and see if u can tell the difference. Somethin tells me that little Dave Grohl has a hand
in this somehow, i mean the guys got a piece of every day band nowadays.
4. The Ataris - The boys of summer
Classic, total classic. And now even better cuz it's been revived
by the Ataris. I liked it back then, and I like it even more now. Oh those boys of summer.
5. Wayne Wonder - No letting go
A little r&b anyone? If theres one thing ive said
before, its songs with clapping in the background will get a song far. This case, no exception.
6. Jungle Massive - Incredible
Bass Bass Bass. English techno jams with a killer
beat to it. Many thanks to Ali G for enlightening me to this song.
7. Dropkick Murphy's - Walk away
Throwin the ska beat on ya. Dropkick has been around a
while, and theyre finally gettin alot of radio play. So they got that goin for them...which is nice.
8. Porcupine Tree - Blackest eyes
The only way I can describe this is like if coldplay started
throwin some guitar riffs in their songs and hooked up with soundgarden.
9. Janes Addiction - Just because
Oh yeah, theyre back alright. So far this is the
only new song I've herd but from that I would say they havent changed that much which, which is a good thing.
10. AFI - The leaving song pt II
Why this song? A. Because it rocks. and
B. Because thats probably what you'll be doing after you read this.
