Roger Williams is located right next to the beautiful beaches in Bristol, RI. RWU has been known
to have nicknames such as Roger Dodger Daycare and Rich White Underachievers. We even made headlines in the Providence Journal
for our diversity and reputation. Sure its full of rich kids whose parents buy them brand new BMW's but hey what do you expect
when everyone drinks away $32,000 per year??? Did I mention we have a shuttle bus to take us from on side of campus to the
other??? (by the way the campus is a 10-15 minute walk at the most)! Roger Williams was not only recognized locally but also
nationally when High Times Magazine named RWU the third highest school in the nation for marijuana usage. YEA HAWKS! Bristol
is located 20 minutes from Providence and 15 minutes from scenic Newport. Did I mention RWU is also one of the most haunted
schools in America??? Yea that's right we are built on Indian burial grounds and the campus is located right next to the Mt.
Hope Bridge which has the 2nd highest suicide rate in America. Sometimes its a pain at night when helicopters are flying around
outside your dorm room window looking for a person who just jumped off the bridge. There was actually a ghost, who we named
Tom, who lived in the room across from me in the hallway of 2N in Cedar Hall. We were also featured on Unsolved Mysteries
when a student several years ago mysteriously disappeared. His boot washed up on shore with his ankle attached but to this
day his body has never been found. Although Roger Williams is not a very old school, it already has so much history behind
it. So if your looking to party any night of the week or perhaps go ghost hunting, come down to Bristol and stay at the good
old daycare.
